Friday Inspiration

Smiling in the storm 

Everyone have storms in life, 

no one can be happy all the time. 

Especially when things goes wrong, 

how we shout and complain all day long

 

Sometimes we just feel like trash, 

as people  rejected and throw us away. 

Other time we are like dried roots,

entangled in bad soil with stones all around 

In these awful storms, 

We can choose to sit and frown. 

Or we could smile throughout the storm.

Its not hard, if you try, 

remember all the good times that you have.

Memories that you have when you're a kid

how you had fun and run around.

Trouble is no where to be found.

Or sit and look up into the skies, 

how idle clouds go rowing by.

Look at how beautiful that flowers are,

especially right after the storm. 

Petal's fill with water and dew, 

brings freshness and beauty a new. 

Or the beauty of the butterfly

Each unique with its own spots and stripes 

 

So when you look our to the dusk, 

Remember all that you have seen,

and remember that the great creator have made it all, 

doesn't matter whether big or small, 

is the very same creator, 

that can make you smile through the storm.

Life Happy Quote

Life is a verb, its filled with actions. Like, ups and downs, births and death etc. In fact, its quite seasonal.

We all feel the warmth of spring, the joy of summer, the sad autumn and cold winters. One thing is constant, though - change.

In fact, I found that I have changed. I'm snappier and grumpier. I realized that I'm not who I want to be. I cursed so much that my friends say that they don't know me any more. I've changed from kind and even temper to totally cynical.

I don't like who I am. I don't like me being depress, easily agitated, my values deteriorating with the current society. I don't like how society is today. I don't like senior citizen driving in front of me. I don't like my favorite parking spot being occupied by someone else.... The list goes on.

Having so many dislikes in this life, I've decided to do something... challenging. I don't want to continue to rattle on like some forgotten aunt in the old folks home. So, I want to change me. I want to be the person giving hope, instead of jeering. Happy instead of grumpy. Calm instead of snappy.

To show part of my dedication and commitment, I will be writing and circulating happy and inspiring quotes to my fellow friends. Part of my rehab back to a happy life including making fun of Singaporeans.

To Singaporeans you are free to leave this blog if you find that its offensive or insulting, no one is stopping you. You can in fact, start a blog and complain about how I make fun of you guys. I don't mind, we all have a freedom in the internet.
